सहदेव-राधेय-संग्रामः; शल्य-प्रभावः; अलम्बुस-निवर्तनम्
Sahadeva and Karṇa; Śalya’s pressure; Alambusa’s interception
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत द्रोणपर्वके अन्तर्गत जयद्रथवधपर्वमें भीमसेन और कर्णका युद्धविषयक एक सौ उनतालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārate Droṇaparvake antargataṃ Jayadrathavadhaparvaṇi Bhīmasena-karṇayor yuddhaviṣayakaḥ ekaśata-unatāliśattamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
Sañjaya said: Thus, in the Śrī Mahābhārata, within the Droṇa Parva—specifically in the section concerning the slaying of Jayadratha—the one hundred and thirty-ninth chapter, dealing with the battle between Bhīmasena and Karṇa, is concluded. The narration frames the war not merely as combat, but as a morally charged sequence of vows, duties, and consequences unfolding within the larger struggle for dharma.
