स तान् विद्राव्य कौन्तेय: संख्येअमित्रान् दुरासदान् | सुपर्ण इव वेगेन पक्षिराडत्यगाच्चमूम्,कुन्तीकुमार भीमसेन युद्धस्थलमें उन दुर्जय शत्रुओंको भगाकर पक्षिराज गरुडके समान वेगसे उस सेनाको लाँघ गये
Transliteration
sa tān vidrāvya kaunteyaḥ saṅkhye 'mitrān durāsadān | suparṇa iva vegena pakṣirāḍ atyagāc chamūm ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “Having routed those hard-to-overcome enemies in the thick of battle, Bhīmasena, the son of Kuntī, surged forward with the speed of Suparṇa (Garuḍa) and leapt past the opposing host.”
