Sañjaya said: “I shall go there—where that Sindhu prince, Jayadratha, stands, poised on the brink of death. For when the Dharmarāja has spoken, one must abide by his command without hesitation or doubt.”
संजय उवाच
The verse emphasizes dharma as disciplined obedience to legitimate command: when the Dharmarāja’s instruction is given, one should follow it without hesitation, placing duty above personal preference or fear.
Sañjaya declares his intention to go to the place where Jayadratha (the Saindhava) is stationed and close to death, stating that he must act in accordance with Yudhiṣṭhira’s directive, without doubt.
