Duryodhana Seeks Droṇa’s Counsel; Imperative to Protect Jayadratha; Pāñcāla Assault on Duryodhana

स शब्दो भरतश्रेष्ठ व्याप्य सर्वा दिशो दश । प्रतिसस्वान तत्रैव कुरुपाण्डवयोर्बले

Transliteration

sa śabdo bharataśreṣṭha vyāpya sarvā diśo daśa | pratisaśvāna tatraiva kurupāṇḍavayor bale ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: O best of the Bharatas, that sound spread through all ten directions and, right there on the field, echoed back again and again amid the armies of the Kurus and the Pāṇḍavas.
