तेन शब्देन महता पूरितेयं वसुंधरा । सशैला सार्णवद्वीपा सपाताला विशाम्पते,प्रजानाथ! उस महान्‌ शब्दसे पर्वत, समुद्र, द्वीप और पातालसहित यह सारी पृथ्वी गूँज उठी

Transliteration

tena śabdena mahatā pūriteyaṃ vasuṃdharā | saśailā sārṇavadvīpā sapātālā viśāmpate prajānātha |

Translation

Sañjaya said: “By that mighty sound, O lord of the people, the whole earth resounded—together with its mountains, oceans, islands, and even the nether regions.”
