Educational Q&A

Even amid violence and uncertainty, righteous action requires inner steadiness and courageous resolve; the conch-blast symbolizes commitment to duty (svadharma) rather than mere aggression.

Sañjaya reports that Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna, heartened and confident, shout a great roar and blow their conches, signaling readiness and rallying their side in the battle setting of the Droṇa Parva.
