Bhīmasena and Droṇa: Containment, Advance, and Recognition

तौतु दृष्टवा व्यतिक्रान्तौ द्रोणानीकं महाद्युती । नाशशंसुर्महाराज सिन्धुराजस्य जीवितम्,परंतु महाराज! जब वे दोनों महातेजस्वी वीर द्रोणाचार्यके सैन्यव्यूहको लाँध गये, तब उन्हें देखकर आपके पुत्रोंको सिन्धुराजके जीवित रहनेकी आशा नहीं रह गयी
Transliteration
tau tu dṛṣṭvā vyatikrāntau droṇānīkaṁ mahādyutī | nāśaśaṁsur mahārāja sindhurājasya jīvitam ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “But when they saw those two heroes of great splendor break through Droṇa’s battle-array, O King, your sons no longer held out any hope for the life of the King of Sindhu.”
