तस्मिंस्तु निहते शूरे सत्यसंधे महौजसि । त्वत्सुता: कर्णमस्मार्षुस्ततुकामा इव प्लवम्‌

Transliteration

tasmiṁstu nihate śūre satyasaṁdhe mahaujasi | tvatsutāḥ karṇam asmārṣuḥ tatukāmā iva plavam ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: When that heroic warrior—true to his vow and of great might—had been slain, your sons turned their thoughts to Karṇa, as men longing to cross turn to a boat.
