Chapter 89: Bhīma dispatched to protect Ghaṭotkaca amid escalating engagements

ते प्रसुप्ते बले तत्र परिश्रान्तजने नृप । हस्त्यश्वबहुले रात्रौ प्रेक्षणीये बभूवतु:,नरेश्वर! जिनमें हाथी और घोड़ोंकी अधिकता थी, उन दोनों पक्षकी सेनाओंमें सब लोग परिश्रमसे चूर-चूर हो रहे थे। रातके समय जब दोनों सेनाएँ सो गयीं, उस समय वे देखनेयोग्य हो गयीं

Sanjaya said: “O king, in both armies—abounding in elephants and horses—the men were utterly worn down by toil. At night, when the two forces had fallen asleep, the scene became a sight worth beholding.”
