तस्याभिपततस्तूर्ण भारद्वाज: प्रतापवान्‌ । क्रुद्धश्चिच्छेद बाणेन धनु: शत्रुनिबर्हण:,तब शत्रुओंका नाश करनेवाले प्रतापी द्रोणाचार्यने कुृपित होकर अपनी ओर आनेवाले धष्टद्युम्नके धनुषको एक बाणसे तुरंत काट दिया

Transliteration

tasyābhipatatastūrṇaṃ bhāradvājaḥ pratāpavān | kruddhaś ciccheda bāṇena dhanuḥ śatrunibarhaṇaḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: As he rushed forward, the mighty Bhāradvāja (Droṇa), angered, swiftly severed his opponent’s bow with a single arrow.
