Educational Q&A

The verse emphasizes that true capability—especially in matters of war—requires practical, first-hand mastery and sustained disciplined effort, not mere theoretical knowledge.

Sañjaya is reporting to Dhṛtarāṣṭra, praising the preparedness of the Kaurava forces by highlighting their rigorous training and comprehensive skill in weapon-handling.
