सूर्यवर्णैश्न निस्त्रिंशी: पात्यमानानि सर्वशः । दिक्षु सर्वास्वदृश्यन्त शरीराणि शिरांसि च,सूर्यके समान चमकीले खड्गोंसे सब ओर काटकर गिराये जानेवाले शरीर और मस्तक सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें दृष्टिगोचर हो रहे थे
sūryavarṇaiś ca nistriṁśaiḥ pātyamānāni sarvaśaḥ | dikṣu sarvāsv adṛśyanta śarīrāṇi śirāṁsi ca ||
Sañjaya said: With swords gleaming like the sun, men were being hewn down on every side; in all directions bodies and severed heads could be seen. The scene conveys the terrible cost of war—where valor and duty on the battlefield unfold amid widespread destruction and suffering.
