मिथुनं जायते काले सम॑ तच्च प्रवर्धते । तुल्यरूपगुणोपेतं समवेषं तथैव च,वहाँ स्त्री-पुरुषोंके जोड़े एक ही साथ उत्पन्न होते और साथ-साथ बढ़ते हैं। उनके रूप, गुण और वेष सब एक-से होते हैं
Transliteration
mithunaṁ jāyate kāle samaṁ tac ca pravardhate | tulyarūpaguṇopetaṁ samaveṣaṁ tathaiva ca ||
Translation
Sanjaya said: In due season, male and female pairs are born together and grow together. Their form and qualities are alike, and even their outward appearance and dress are the same.
