उदीर्णान्‌ पर्थिवान्‌ सर्वान्‌ साश्वान्‌ सरथकुण्जरान्‌ | असम्भ्रमं भीमसेनो गदया समवारयत्‌,घोड़े, हाथी तथा रथसहित जितने भी भूपाल वहाँ आगे बढ़ रहे थे, उन सबको केवल गदाकी सहायतासे भीमसेनने बिना किसी घबराहटके रोक दिया

Transliteration

udīrṇān pārthivān sarvān sāśvān sarathakuñjarān | asambhramaṃ bhīmaseno gadayā samavārayat ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: As all the kings surged forward—together with their horses, chariots, and elephants—Bhīmasena, without the least agitation, checked them with his mace.
