तत्रेष्टवा तु गतः सिद्धि सहस्राक्षो महायशा: । वहाँ बहुत-से मणिमय यूप तथा सुवर्णमय चैत्य (महल) शोभा पाते हैं। वहीं यज्ञ करके महायशस्वी इन्द्रने सिद्धि प्राप्त की थी ।। ४४ ई ।। स्रष्टा भूतपतिर्यत्र सर्वलोकैः सनातन:,उसी स्थानपर सब ओर सम्पूर्ण जगत्‌के लोग लोकस्रष्टा प्रचण्ड तेजस्वी सनातन भगवान्‌ भूतनाथकी उपासना करते हैं। नर, नारायण, ब्रह्मा, मनु और पाँचवें भगवान्‌ शिव वहाँ सदा स्थित रहते हैं

tatreṣṭvā tu gataḥ siddhi sahasrākṣo mahāyaśāḥ |

Sañjaya said: “Having performed sacrifice there, the thousand-eyed Indra—of great renown—attained siddhi (spiritual accomplishment).” The verse presents a sacred locale whose holiness is affirmed by Indra’s successful rite: disciplined worship and right ritual action, in a consecrated place, are shown as leading to attainment and divine favor.
