Transliteration

sahitās tv abhyavartanta parīpsanto mahārathāḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya said: United in purpose, the great chariot-warriors rushed forward, intent on protecting Śveta—the foremost among charioteers—when they saw him left without his chariot and forced to fight on foot.
