Devotion to the Personal vs. Contemplation of the Imperishable
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके श्रीमद्भगवद््गीतापव॑के अन्तर्गत ब्रह्मविद्या एवं योगशास्त्ररूप श्रीमद्भगवद््गीतोपनिषद्र्में: श्रीकृष्णाजुनसंवादमें राजविद्याराजगुह्ययोग नामक नवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ,८ ।।
mac-cittā mad-gata-prāṇā bodhayantaḥ parasparam | kathayantaś ca māṁ nityaṁ tuṣyanti ca ramanti ca ||
Those devotees whose minds are absorbed in Me, whose very life-breath is offered to Me, enlighten one another by speaking of Me. Constantly recounting Me—My qualities and greatness—they remain ever content, and they delight continually in Me.
अजुन उवाच
Single-pointed devotion expresses itself as constant remembrance and conversation about the Divine; such shared contemplation (mutual instruction and narration of God’s qualities) naturally yields inner contentment (tuṣṭi) and joy (ramaṇa).
In the midst of the Mahābhārata war setting, Kṛṣṇa describes the inner life of His devotees: they gather in mutual fellowship, speak about Him and His greatness, and through that ongoing remembrance they remain satisfied and rejoice in Him.
