भीष्मपतनविषये धृतराष्ट्रस्य प्रश्नाः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Questions on Bhīṣma’s Fall

महाराज मनुष्येषु निन्द्यं यः सर्वमाचरेत् । स वध्य: सर्वलोकस्य निन्दितानि समाचरन्,महाराज! जो पुरुष मनुष्य-समाजमें सर्वथा निन्दनीय आचरण करता है, वह निन्दित कर्म करनेके कारण सब लोगोंके लिये मार डालनेयोग्य है
Transliteration
mahārāja manuṣyeṣu nindyaṁ yaḥ sarvam ācaret | sa vadhyaḥ sarvalokasya ninditāni samācaran ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “O King, a man who, among human beings, engages in conduct that is wholly blameworthy—who persists in performing condemned deeds—becomes, by that very disgraceful behavior, one whom all people deem fit to be slain.”
