निर्मन्युर्गतसंरम्भ: कृतकर्मा रणे सम ह । यथाशक्ति यथोत्साहं सतां वृत्तेषु वृत्तवान्,दीनता और क्रोध छोड़कर अपनी शक्ति और उत्साहके अनुसार सत्पुरुषोंके आचारमें स्थित रहकर युद्ध करो। तुम रणक्षेत्रमें पराक्रम कर चुके हो और आचारवान् तो हो ही
Transliteration
nirmanyur gatasarambhaḥ kṛtakarmā raṇe samaḥ | yathāśakti yathotsāhaṃ satāṃ vṛtteṣu vṛttavān ||
Translation
Bhīṣma said: “Free from resentment and with your impetuous anger stilled, stand firm in the conduct of the righteous, acting according to your strength and your zeal. You have already proved your prowess on the battlefield, and you are, in any case, a man of disciplined conduct—therefore fight without sinking into dejection or being driven by wrath.”
