sa hi taṃ samare rājan nirjitya vijayo 'rjunaḥ
Sañjaya said: O King, for in that battle he indeed overcame him; Arjuna—whose very name is ‘Victory’—stood triumphant. The line underscores how rightful prowess and steadfast resolve in war are measured by the ability to subdue an opponent without wavering from one’s appointed duty.
