भीष्मस्य जलप्रार्थना — अर्जुनस्य पर्जन्यास्त्रप्रयोगः — दुर्योधनं प्रति सन्ध्युपदेशः

तस्य भीमो भधर्नुर्मध्ये द्वाभ्यां चिच्छेद मारिष । भल्लाभ्यां भरतश्रेष्ठ सैन्धवस्य महात्मन:,माननीय भरतश्रेष्ठ; उस समय भीमसेनने दो भल्ल मारकर महामना सिन्धुराजके धनुषको बीचसे ही काट दिया

tasya bhīmo dhanur madhye dvābhyāṃ ciccheda māriṣa | bhallābhyāṃ bharataśreṣṭha saindhavasya mahātmanaḥ ||

Sañjaya said: Then Bhīma, O venerable one, with two sharp arrows cut the great-souled Saindhava’s bow clean in the middle.
