भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः
Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
नकुलं तु रणे क्रुद्धो विकर्ण: शत्रुतापन: । विव्याध सायकै: षष्ट्या रक्षन् भीष्मं महाबलम्,दूसरी ओर क्रोधमें भरे हुए शत्रुसंतापी विकर्णने युद्धके मैदानमें महाबली भीष्मकी रक्षामें तत्पर हो साठ बाणोंद्वारा नकुलको घायल कर दिया
nakulaṃ tu raṇe kruddho vikarṇaḥ śatrutāpanaḥ | vivyādha sāyakaiḥ ṣaṣṭyā rakṣan bhīṣmaṃ mahābalam ||
Sañjaya said: Enraged in the thick of battle, Vikarṇa—scorcher of foes—struck Nakula with sixty arrows, acting with vigilant resolve to protect the mighty Bhīṣma.
