भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः
Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed

आजपघानोरसि क्ुद्धो भीष्मस्य वधकाडुक्षया । तयोरयुद्धं समभवद् घोररूपं भयावहम्,राजन! इसी प्रकार पाण्डुकुमार सहदेवने भी कुपित हो भीष्मके वधकी इच्छासे अमर्षशील कृपाचार्यकी छातीमें अपने बाणोंद्वारा प्रहार किया। उन दोनोंका वह युद्ध अत्यन्त घोर एवं भयंकर हो चला
Translation
Sañjaya said: In the same way, O King, Sahadeva, the son of Pāṇḍu—angered and intent on Bhīṣma’s death—struck Kṛpācārya, the son of Śaradvat, in the chest with his arrows. Their combat grew exceedingly fierce and terrifying.
