भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः

Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead

दुःशासनं शतेनाजौ नाराचानां समार्पयत्‌ | भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णको बाणोंसे पीड़ित हुआ देख अर्जुनका क्रोध उभड़ आया और उन्होंने दुःशासनको युद्धमें सौ नाराचोंसे घायल कर दिया

duḥśāsanaṃ śatenājau nārācānāṃ samārpayat | bhagavān śrīkṛṣṇo bāṇaiḥ pīḍitaḥ saṃdṛśya arjunasya krodhaḥ samudabhavat, sa ca duḥśāsanaṃ yuddhe śata-nārācaiḥ viddhavān |

Sañjaya said: In the thick of battle, Arjuna’s anger surged when he saw Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa afflicted by arrows. In response, he struck Duḥśāsana on the battlefield with a hundred nārāca shafts, wounding him severely.
