वासुदेवं च विंशत्या ताडयामास संयुगे । महाराज! दुःशासनने तीन बाणोंद्वारा पाण्डुनन्दन अर्जुनको और बीस बाणोंसे वसुदेवनन्दन श्रीकृष्णको युद्धमें घायल किया

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

vāsudevaṃ ca viṃśatyā tāḍayāmāsa saṃyuge |

mahārāja! duḥśāsanena trīn bāṇair dvārā pāṇḍunandanaṃ arjunaṃ ca viṃśati-bāṇaiḥ vasudeva-nandanaṃ śrīkṛṣṇaṃ yuddhe ghāyalīkṛtam |

Translation

Sañjaya said: O King, in the thick of battle Duḥśāsana struck Arjuna, the son of Pāṇḍu, with three arrows, and wounded Vasudeva’s son, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, with twenty arrows.
