पाण्डवा: समरे शूरा: स्थिता युद्धाय दंशिता: । इस प्रकार शूरवीर पाण्डव भी समरांगणमें अत्यन्त दुर्जय महाव्यूहकी रचना करके कवच बाँध युद्धके लिये तैयार थे

Transliteration

pāṇḍavāḥ samare śūrāḥ sthitā yuddhāya daṃśitāḥ |

Translation

Sañjaya said: The Pāṇḍavas—valiant in battle—stood firm on the field, fully armed and resolved for war. Having arranged a formidable great battle-formation and fastening on their armor, they made themselves ready to fight, embodying disciplined preparedness amid the grave demands of dharma in conflict.
