Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse

समनुज्ञाप्य तत्‌ सर्व कृष्णद्वैपायनं नृप: । वासुदेवमथाभ्येत्य वाग्मी वचनमब्रवीत्‌,श्रीकृष्णद्वैवायन व्याससे सब बातोंके लिये आज्ञा ले प्रवचनकुशल राजा युधिष्छिर भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्णके पास जाकर इस प्रकार बोले--

samanujñāpya tat sarvaṃ kṛṣṇadvaipāyanaṃ nṛpaḥ | vāsudevam athābhyetya vāgmī vacanam abravīt ||

Vaiśampāyana said: Having duly obtained permission for all that from Kṛṣṇa-Dvaipāyana (Vyāsa), the king—eloquent and self-possessed—then approached Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) and spoke these words.
