Subhadrā’s Petition to Kṛṣṇa for the Revival of Parīkṣit (अभिमन्युज-प्राणरक्षा-प्रार्थना)

एवमुक्ते ततः कुन्तीं पर्यगृह्नाज्जनार्दन: । भूमौ निपतितां चैनां सान्त्वयामास भारत,भरतनन्दन! उन सबके ऐसा कहनेपर जनार्दन श्रीकृष्णने कुन्तीदेवीको सहारा देकर बैठाया और पृथ्वीपर पड़ी हुई अपनी बुआको वे सान्त्वना देने लगे

evam ukte tataḥ kuntīṁ paryagṛhṇāj janārdanaḥ | bhūmau nipatitāṁ caināṁ sāntvayāmāsa bhārata ||

When those words had been spoken, Janārdana (Kṛṣṇa) took Kuntī into his supportive embrace and helped her up. Seeing her fallen upon the ground, he began to console his paternal aunt, O Bhārata—an act that underscores dharma expressed as compassion and familial duty amid the aftershocks of war.
