Chapter 6

पृच्छेत्‌ त्वां यदि केनाहं तवाख्यात इति सम ह । ब्रूयास्त्वं नारदेनेति संवर्त कथितोडसि मे,यदि तुमसे पूछें कि किसने तुम्हें मेरा पता बताया है तो कह देना--'संवर्तजी! नारदजीने मुझे आपका पता बताया है”

pṛcchet tvāṃ yadi kenāhaṃ tavākhyāta iti saṃmataḥ | brūyās tvaṃ nāradeneti saṃvarta kathito 'si me ||

Nārada said: “If someone asks you, ‘By whom was I informed about you?’, then you should reply, ‘By Nārada.’ Thus, O Saṃvarta, you have been identified to me as the one to be approached.”
