इत्युक्तस्तु तथाकार्षीदुत्तड़कश्ित्रभानुना । घृतार्चि: प्रीतिमांश्वापि प्रजज्वाल दिधक्षया,अग्निदेवके ऐसा कहनेपर उत्तंकने उनकी आज्ञाका पालन किया। तब घृतमयी अर्चिवाले अग्निदेव प्रसन्न होकर नागलोकको जला डालनेकी इच्छासे प्रज्वलित हो उठे
ity uktas tu tathākārṣīd uttaṅkaś citrabhānunā | ghṛtārciḥ prītimān śvāpi prajajvāla didhakṣayā ||
Thus addressed, Uttaṅka carried out exactly what he had been told by Citrabhānu. Pleased, Agni—the one whose flames are fed by ghee—blazed up with the intent to burn the realm of the Nāgas.
