विधिवत् सततं विप्र शुचिना भृगुनन्दन । तस्माच्छेयो विधास्यामि तवैवं कुरु मा चिरम्,घोड़ेने कहा--ब्रह्मन! मैं तुम्हारे गुरुका भी गुरु जातवेदा अग्नि हूँ, यह तुम अच्छी तरह जान लो। भृगुनन्दन! तुमने अपने गुरुके लिये सदा पवित्र रहकर विधिपूर्वक मेरी पूजा की है। इसलिये मैं तुम्हारा कल्याण करूँगा। अब तुम मेरे बताये अनुसार कार्य करो, विलम्ब न करो
vidhivat satataṁ vipra śucinā bhṛgunandana | tasmāc chreyo vidhāsyāmi tavaivaṁ kuru mā ciram ||
The Horse said: “O brāhmaṇa, O Bhṛgu’s descendant, you have continually worshipped me in due rite, remaining pure. Therefore I shall bring about your welfare. Do exactly as I instruct—do not delay.”
