इत्युक्तस्तामुत्तड़कस्तु भर्तुर्वाक्यमथाब्रवीत् । श्रुत्वा च सा तदा प्रादात् ततस्ते मणिकुण्डले,राजाके ऐसा कहनेपर उत्तंकने रानीके पास जाकर पतिकी कही हुई बात ज्यों-की-त्यों दुहरा दी। महारानी मदयन्तीने स्वामीका वचन सुनकर उसी समय अपने मणिमय कुण्डल उत्तंक मुनिको दे दिये
ity uktas tām uttaṅkas tu bhartur vākyam athābravīt | śrutvā ca sā tadā prādāt tatas te maṇikuṇḍale ||
Thus addressed, Uttanka went to her and repeated exactly the words spoken by her husband. Hearing them, the queen at once complied and handed over the jeweled earrings to the sage—prompt obedience to a rightful request, and steadfastness in dharma.
सौदाय उवाच
Faithful transmission of a rightful message and prompt compliance with dharmic duty are upheld: Uttanka repeats the husband’s words without distortion, and the queen responds immediately by giving the requested jeweled earrings.
Uttanka, having been instructed, goes to the queen and conveys her husband’s statement exactly. On hearing it, she promptly gives Uttanka the pair of jeweled earrings.
