Uttanka’s Guru-Śuśrūṣā and the Commission to Retrieve the Maṇikuṇḍalas (उत्तङ्क-गुरुशुश्रूषा तथा मणिकुण्डल-आदेशः)

न चापिबत्‌ स सक्रोध: क्षुभितेनान्तरात्मना । स तथा निश्चयात्‌ तेन प्रत्याख्यातो महात्मना,उत्तंकने उस जलको नहीं पीया। वे अत्यन्त कुपित हो उठे थे। उनके अन्त:करणमें बड़ा क्षोेभ था। उन महात्माने अपने निश्चयपर अटल रहकर चाण्डालको जवाब दे दिया

na cāpibat sa sakrodhaḥ kṣubhitena antarātmanā | sa tathā niścayāt tena pratyākhyāto mahātmanā ||

And he did not drink that water. Inflamed with anger and inwardly shaken, he nevertheless stood firm in his resolve; thus the great-souled one refused and dismissed him with a decisive reply.
