Thus ends the thirty-sixth chapter of the Guru–Disciple dialogue section within the Anugītā sub-parvan, contained in the Aśvamedhika Parvan of the sacred Mahābhārata. This closing colophon marks the completion of the chapter’s instructional exchange, framing its teachings as part of the larger post-war ethical and spiritual reflection that follows the Aśvamedha context.

Educational Q&A

This line is a colophon rather than a doctrinal verse: its function is to signal the completion of a chapter focused on guru–disciple instruction within the Anugītā. The implied emphasis is on the authority of transmitted teaching (śāstra and ācārya-paramparā) and on framing ethical reflection as a structured, chaptered discourse within the epic.

The text is closing the thirty-sixth chapter of the Anugītā section, identifying its topic as a guru–disciple dialogue and locating it within the Aśvamedhika Parvan. It serves as an editorial/narrative boundary marker, indicating that the preceding instructional exchange has concluded.
