Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira
वैशम्पायन उवाच तस्य तद् वचन धर्म्यमनुमान्य गुणोत्तरम्
vaiśampāyana uvāca tasya tad vacanaṃ dharmyam anumānya guṇottaram
Vaiśampāyana said: Approving those words of his as righteous and marked by superior virtue, (they accepted and proceeded accordingly).
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Speech aligned with dharma and enriched by good qualities deserves assent; ethical counsel is validated not merely by authority but by its righteousness and virtue.
