यदत्रानन्तरं कार्य तद्‌ भवान्‌ वक्तुमर्हति । इत्युक्त: संजयेनेदं पुनराह स पार्थिव:,“अब इसके बाद क्या करना चाहिये--यह बतानेकी कृपा करें।” संजयके ऐसा कहनेपर राजाने फिर कहा--

Transliteration

yad atrānantaraṃ kāryaṃ tad bhavān vaktum arhati | ity uktaḥ saṃjayenedam punar āha sa pārthivaḥ |

Translation

“What should be done next in this matter—please be so kind as to tell.” When Saṃjaya spoke thus, the king again replied. The exchange underscores a dharmic posture of seeking right guidance before acting, placing deliberation and counsel ahead of impulse.
