Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly (आश्रमवासिक पर्व, अध्याय ३६)
गच्छ संजय यत्राग्निर्न त्वां दहति करह्िचित्
gaccha sañjaya yatrāgnir na tvāṁ dahati karhicit
Nārada said: “Go, Sañjaya, to that place where the fire will never burn you.” In the narrative, this is a protective instruction—directing Sañjaya toward a divinely safeguarded space, emphasizing that spiritual authority can grant refuge from physical peril and that obedience to wise counsel is itself dharmic conduct.
