Vyāsa’s Boon-Offer and Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Remorse in the Forest Assembly (आश्रमवासिक पर्व, अध्याय ३६)

अग्नींस्तु याजकास्तत्र जुह॒वुर्विधिवत् प्रभो । दृश्यतो<दृश्यतश्वचैव वने तस्मिन् नृपस्य वै,प्रभो! राजा धृतराष्ट्र उस वनमें कभी दिखायी देते और कभी अदृश्य हो जाते थे। यज्ञ करानेवाले ब्राह्मण वहाँ उनके द्वारा स्थापित की हुई अग्निमें विधिवत् हवन करते रहते थे
Translation
O lord, there the Brahmin priests duly poured oblations into the sacred fires that the king had established. And in that forest, King Dhṛtarāṣṭra would at times be seen and at other times vanish from sight.
