शत्रवो5पि कुतः पौरा भृत्या वा स्वजनो5पि वा | कच्चिद् यजसि राजेन्द्र श्रद्धावान् पितृदेवता:,राजेन्द्र! पुरवासी स्वजनों और सेवकोंकी तो बात ही क्या है, क्या शत्रु भी तुम्हारे बर्तावसे संतुष्ट रहते हैं? क्या तुम श्रद्धापूर्वक देवताओं और पितरोंका यजन करते हो?
Translation
Dhṛtarāṣṭra said: “O lord of kings, not only your citizens, servants, and kinsmen—are even your enemies satisfied by your conduct? And do you, with faith, offer worship and sacrifice to the gods and to the Pitṛs, the ancestral spirits?”
