गण्डोवाच उग्रादितो भयाद् यस्माद् बिभ्यतीमे ममेश्वरा: । बलीयांसो दुर्बलवद् बिभेम्यहमत: परम्
Transliteration
gaṇḍovāca ugrādito bhayād yasmād bibhyatīme mameśvarāḥ | balīyāṃso durbalavad bibhemyaham ataḥ param ||
Translation
Gaṇḍa said: “Because I have been harshly threatened, fear has arisen; therefore even those who are my lords and protectors now tremble. Seeing the powerful shaken as though they were weak, I too am terrified—more than ever.”
