Immense power (tejas) must be borne and transmitted through proper, ordered means. The verse highlights responsible containment and nurturing of divine energy so that it manifests without harm—an ethical image of safeguarding potency through disciplined channels.
Bhishma describes how the six Kṛttikās nurtured Agni’s embryo. Agni’s full fiery essence was distributed into them via six routes, enabling the safe carrying and eventual emergence of that divine force.
