नक्षत्रेषु श्राद्धफलविधानम् (Śrāddha Outcomes According to Nakṣatras)
षण्णां तासां ततः प्रीत: पावको गर्भधारणात् । स्वेन तेजोविसर्गेण वीर्येण परमेण च,अपने तेजके स्थापन और उत्तम वीर्यके ग्रहणद्वारा गर्भ धारण करनेके कारण अग्निदेव उन छहों कृत्तिकाओंपर बहुत प्रसन्न हुए
ṣaṇṇāṃ tāsāṃ tataḥ prītaḥ pāvako garbhadhāraṇāt | svena tejovisargeṇa vīryeṇa parameṇa ca ||
Bhīṣma said: “Thereafter, the Fire-god (Pāvaka) became greatly pleased with those six Kṛttikās, because they bore the embryo. By establishing his own fiery energy within them and by imparting his supreme potency, he enabled the conception.”
