Extraordinary tejas (spiritual/divine radiance) is not merely attractive; it can be overpowering. The verse highlights how immense inner power affects others, implying the ethical need for containment, right context, and reverent distance when encountering such force.
As the divine child Kumāra grows, his radiance intensifies. The Kṛttikā women, associated with his nurturing in the Skanda tradition, feel their bodies pervaded by that blazing energy and therefore cannot find rest or comfort anywhere.
