Karma-Phala Rahasya and the Ethics of Dāna (कर्मफल-रहस्यं दानधर्मश्च)

वीरासनं वीरशय्यां वीरस्थानमुपागत: । अक्षयास्तस्य वै लोका: सर्वकामगमास्तथा,जो वीरासन रणभूमिमें जाकर वीरशय्या (मृत्यु)-को प्राप्त हो वीरस्थान (स्वर्गलोक) में जाता है, उसे अक्षय लोकोंकी प्राप्ति होती है। वे लोक सम्पूर्ण कामनाओंकी प्राप्ति करानेवाले होते हैं

Whoever goes to the battlefield and takes the hero’s seat (vīrāsana), attaining the hero’s bed—death in valor—and reaches the hero’s realm (vīra-sthāna) in heaven, gains imperishable worlds. Those worlds grant the fulfillment of every desire.
