पूपान्‌ पुनर्वसौ दत्त्वा तथैवान्नानि शो भने । यशस्वी रूपसम्पन्नो बद्धन्नो जायते कुले

Transliteration

pūpān punarvasau dattvā tathaivānnāni śobhane | yaśasvī rūpasampanno baddhānno jāyate kule ||

Translation

Narada said: “By giving sweet cakes at the time of the Punarvasu observance, and likewise offering food, one is born in a noble family endowed with fame and beauty.”
