कांस्योपदोहनां धेनुं रेवत्यां यः प्रयच्छति । सा प्रेत्य कामानादाय दातारमुपतिष्ठति,जो रेवती नक्षत्रमें कांसके दुग्धपात्रसे युक्त धेनुका दान करता है वह धेनु परलोकमें सम्पूर्ण भोगोंको लेकर उस दाताकी सेवामें उपस्थित होती है
Transliteration
nārada uvāca |
kāṁsyopadohanāṁ dhenuṁ revatyāṁ yaḥ prayacchati |
sā pretya kāmān ādāya dātāram upatiṣṭhati ||
Translation
Nārada said: “Whoever donates a cow furnished with a bronze milking vessel at the time of the Revatī lunar mansion—after death, that very cow, bearing all desired enjoyments, comes to attend upon and serve the donor.”
