दानफलप्रकरणम् — उपानहदानं, तिलदानं, भूमिदानं, गोदानं, अन्नदानं च

Gifts and Their Stated Results: Footwear, Sesame, Land, Cows, and Food

शतमप्सरसश्रैव दिव्यमाल्यविभूषिता: । उपतिष्ठ न्ति देवेन्द्र ब्रह्मलोके धराप्रदम्‌,देवराज! भूदान करनेवाले पुरुषकी सेवामें ब्रह्मलोकमें दिव्य मालाओंसे विभूषित सैकड़ों अप्सराएँ उपस्थित होती हैं

śatam apsarasaś caiva divya-mālya-vibhūṣitāḥ | upatiṣṭhanti devendra brahmaloke dharā-pradam ||

Bhīṣma said: “O Indra, in Brahmaloka hundreds of apsarases, adorned with divine garlands, stand in attendance upon the giver of land.”
