भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed as disciplined reverence: a student should approach the teacher with humility (abhivādya), inner calm (śāntātmā), and steady devotion (guruvatsalaḥ), serving consistently and without fear or suspicion (aśaṅkitaḥ).
Vipula respectfully salutes his guru and then stands by to attend upon him, returning to his customary service exactly as earlier, showing composure and confidence rather than anxiety.
