Faithful service to one’s teacher includes protecting the guru’s trust and household with integrity; true devotion is shown through disciplined conduct and safeguarding what is entrusted, without seeking personal gain.
After the guru returns, Vipula—who had been entrusted with guarding the guru’s wife—formally presents her back to him, emphasizing that she remained protected and beyond reproach under his care.
