तव मम च गुणैर्महानुभावा जुषतु मतिं सतत स्वधर्मयुक्तै: । अभिमतजनवत्सला हि गड्जा जगति युनक्ति सुखैश्ष भक्तिमन्तम्‌,महान्‌ प्रभावशाली भगवती भागीरथी आपकी और मेरी बुद्धिको सदा स्वधर्मानुकूल गुणोंसे युक्त करें। श्रीगंगाजी बड़ी भक्तवत्सला हैं। वे संसारमें अपने भक्तोंको सुखी बनाती हैं

Transliteration

tava mama ca guṇair mahānubhāvā juṣatu matiṁ satataṁ svadharmayuktaiḥ | abhimatajanavatsalā hi gaṅgā jagati yuṅkte sukhaiḥ bhaktimantam ||

Translation

May the great-souled Goddess Bhāgīrathī (Gaṅgā), through virtues aligned with one’s own dharma, continually refine and steady the understanding of both you and me. For Gaṅgā is truly affectionate toward those dear to her—she grants happiness and well-being to her devotees in this world.
